Guang Dong Travel Commercial

Till this point this is the longest commercial I’ve shot ever period. We were shooting for about a month in south of China, Guangdong province and we were hired by the Chinese government to make a travel documentary/commercial.

We visited about 20 cities and we shot in each and everyone of them.

We went on a location scout for about two weeks, looking through each and every city, making snapshots of every frame we wanted to film and afterwards the filming commenced.

Besides our shooting plan which we executed, we also improvised whenever we had the chance and the free time.

We were small and compact crew of five people, director, DOP, Producer, first assistant camera and second assistant camera. We were using everything from black magic 4.6 K, to a phantom four, all the way to GoPro7.

This project helped me to become faster in gorilla style shooting, because we didn’t wanna miss a single shot. This project was a huge blast!
